Question #3: Can there be an atheistic construct of morality?

It has been said that without a God, without some higher being or purpose, men become simply atoms and rabbits.

Those who hold to no God say that a spirit of looking out for ones self will create a moralistic society.

What do you think?

Question #2: Do Muslims/Jews/Christians worship the same God?

Regarding Muslims, recently, I read:
That is what the phrase, translated, "Son of God" means to them. Can we find a better way to help them learn of Christ's true position? They already believe He is the "Word of God". Isn't the Word of God eternal; proceding from the Father? They believe Jesus was miraculously conceived in the Virgin Mary by the Spirit. Hmm. That sounds like a lot of truth and a good starting point.

The same idea conceptually was/can be applied to Jews.

Thoughts?

Question #1: Is God Sovereign?

Two views (there are more) that I have read recently:

“I believe God knows the end from the beginning and all history is going exactly where he knows and ultimately controls it. Somehow, I also believe that things happen in real-time to us and that we have the ability to make choices that affect others. I see this as a sovereignty-free will paradox similar to paradoxes in physics, such as problems that involve frames of reference.”

“I totally get the view that one can get comfort from a loved one dying and going to heaven at the hands of God, it’s when there loved one is not christian and one has to reconcile that it’s part of God’s perfect plan to have one of your kids or your father to spend eternity in hell.”

What about you?

Hello!

My intention with this blog is simply to gather thoughts and feedback from others. I would like to let civility rule the day. My thought is to posit a question here, perhaps with a thought of clarification (to get a good response), but I don’t think much comes from my including much (as it might appear more as bloviating than anything else). I would love to hear your answer to whatever the question might be. I’m not interested in how well you can insult others who disagree with you or hold a view that might conflict with yours. I hope I do get some answers, I’m truly interested in hearing them.
